About our teachers:
Ms.Young: "Hello everyone and welcome to our website! Made by the students for the students! My name is Ms.Young and I am a fourth-year student teacher (soon to be real teacher!) from McGill University. I came to Allion Elementary in February of 2015 for my final field experience and what an experience it has been! Over the past eight weeks, I have become acquainted with a wonderful cooperating teacher Ms.Shaw and two amazing groups of grade five students, 501 and 502. Every day these students surprise me with their amazing talents, crazy stories, hidden abilities, quirky hobbies, hilarious humor and loving kindness. In turn, I have also surprised them by sharing with them some of my own interests, incorporating art (acrylic painting, origami, ICT graphic design), music (acoustic guitar and clarinet) and ICT (video-making, web design) into my lessons! Credits
This website was created by two grade five classrooms, 501 and 502. The project was led by Ms.Young a.k.a. "New Leaf", a fourth year student teacher from McGill University who was supported by cooperating teacher Ms.Shaw a.k.a. "The Circus Master". Students were able to sign up for three different jobs: Artist, Writer and Web Design. Below are a list of students who participated in this EPIC project!!!
